Mastering M&A Strategies and the Entire M&A Process from a BOARD PERSPECTIVE to Ensure Proper Corporate Governance
M&A Strategy: M&A Success is based on developing a sound M&A strategy based on a solid corporate
growth strategy. The application of six specific strategy tools will clearly explain the strategic rational behind the acquisition or JVs from various angles and define the key value drivers in these transactions

The M&A Strategy tools are contrasted by describing the success factors of JVs and M&A transactions using three empirical studies augmenting your deep understanding in what drives M&A success and to review jointly the seven deadly sins of M&A deal making.

Having discussed the tools necessary to define success in M&A Strategy, it is important to look into the corporate governance mechanisms and their application during different M&A transaction categories. Most important is it to distil which four key questions a board needs to find answers to in order to ensure independent decision-making and for the non-executive board directors on the board to ensure that M&A transactions are value enhancing
